AquaMate®

AquaMate® is an innovation in water and soil treatment that keeps irrigation lines clean and free flowing, improves water use efficiency, enhances the microbial health of soils, and supports optimum plant growth, through improving nutrient and water uptake. It is  totally safe to handle, store and for plants.

The Problems

Blocked Irrigation System

Blocked Irrigation Filters, Lines, Drippers, Sprinklers

Blocked irrigation drippers are caused by bacterial biofilm/slime that create a growing crossed-linked matrix which acts like a filter or glue. This traps/sticks a quick build up of minerals - (iron, calcium, magnesium, sodium), algae and fertilisers.  It causes crops being under or over watered  - poor water use efficiency and loss of production.

Poor Irrigation Water Penetration

Poor Irrigation Water Penetration & Distribution

With such diverse range of soils, water penetration and dispersion can be greatly affected. Irrigation water channeling or lack of vertical & lateral distribution or excessive runoff creates poor water use efficiency, nutrients not been delivered to where they need to be all resulting in lost production.

Oxidizing agent

Poor Options To Fix These Problems In Irrigation Systems

In the past there have only been dangerous chemicals as options to manage irrigation blockages from biofilm/slime & mineral build up. These chemical are often dangerous, corrosive to systems and detrimental to soil& plant health.  While poor water penetration & distribution was just accepted as a soil type issue.

Happy Growers

"As a nursery and grower, we have struggled with blockages in our irrigation system caused by slime (biofilm). These blockages not only affected our plants growth, but also increased our labour costs as we needed to manually clean each dripper and sprinkler head.

After using AquaMate® for a couple of weeks, we noticed a significant improvement. All our drippers and sprinkler heads are now free flowing with no blockages.

This has saved us considerable time and labour costs. Each plant is now receiving the correct amount of water and nutrients, which has led to improved production.

The non-hazardous nature of AquaMate® means we no longer need to use dangerous chemicals. It is easy to use and the service from Advanced Nutrients has been excellent.

We would definitely recommend AquaMate® to other growers who are facing slime blockages in their irrigation systems.    AquaMate® is the solution!"

AquaMate® Cleaning Irrigation Systems
The Solution

AquaMate®

Is a Patented liquid organocatalyst and non-ionic surfactant innovation that has a systemic affect for farmers irrigation systems of cleaning, improved water penetration & distribution in soils for greater water use efficiency & overall health improvement of soil and crop production.

How AquaMate® Works

This video highlights the safe and effective cleaning process of   AquaMate® comparative to chemical cleaning options and the additional   secondary benefits AquaMate® offers to your water, soil and crop  health.

AquaMate Treated

This irrigation system had just 4 treatments of AquaMate.  Still got work to do but a good improvement.

Happy Growers

"We used AquaMate® in our vineyard to clean and maintain our lines and drippers and wanted to see if it would help water penetration. It did everything they said it would do which I have never had a product do everything they said it would.

AquaMate® cleaned our lines, drippers and filters and kept them clean with a weekly application. We also noted a good improvement in water penetration in the bad areas.

Great product which we will continue to use".

Sustainable Water Treatment

A Systemic water treatment process of irrigation systems leads to a non-toxic, high dissolved oxygen(DO), odour free, clean irrigation lines, and water entering soil or potting medium. AquaMate® is totally safe for staff and reduces cleaning and maintenance, reduces potential disease accumulation and extends the life span of irrigation systems and  hydroponic mediums such as rockwool  .

Sprinkler Irrigation

Cleaning Certainty

AquaMate® initiates a catalytic breakdown of the bio-films/slime (polysaccharide links), and as a result of this remove the glue and therefore any ability for minerals - iron, calcium, magnesium, sodium, fertilisers and or dirt to form or build up in irrigation lines, filters or drippers.

Bubbles in water

Microbubble Technology

The organic catalysis mechanism aided by a unique microbubble feature converts biofilm/slime into a soluble liquid for rapid microbe consumption. Whilst not an oxidizing agent, the microbubble’s transfer available oxygen to biological and chemical oxidation processes.

Ecological Remediation

Ecological Remediation

AquaMate® has the ability to facilitate a more aerobic, and therefore healthy microbial environment in soils and ecology of plants, through the reactions of the organocatalyst innovation of increasing the dissolved oxygen (DO) of water.

Field of crops

Highly Concentrated

AquaMate® is delivered at very high dilutions through any type of irrigation system, including hydroponics, drip and sprinkler irrigation lines, pivots and laterals. Is non-corrosive, non hazardous, & Non-toxic

This creates an environment where iron, calcium or other minerals, dirt or fertilisers cannot stick in lines. Maintenance applications at varying frequency or a lower percentage of irrigation's at 3ppm will prevent the biofilm from returning.

Having blocked lines and drippers, costs you yield and poor water use efficiency. By creating a systemic water treatment process with AquaMate®, you will keep filters, main lines, drip lines & drippers free flowing, increase your water’s dissolved oxygen, improve water penetration & distribution, reduce runoff which all ensure maximum  water use efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at craig@advancednutrients.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

AquaMate® is applied at 3ppm or 0.003 millilitre per litre

Depending on your irrigation system, depends on the application process. A simple dosing pump based on the water flow is the easiest and simplest way to apply AquaMate®.  It can be injected directly to your main line or if flow is too high, then a bleed off system can be installed.  We would suggest the DDE | Grundfos  or  dosing pump or if no power, a Mixrite system.  Contact your local irrigation store.

AquaMate® is completely safe to people, plants, root systems, & propagation systems is non-toxic, non-corrosive and will not harm environment, animals or aquatic life.

Organocatalyst’s, though they may perform a similar role to enzymes, they are not limited by environmental conditions as enzymes are (pH, DO, EC & Temperature).  Organocatalyst’s are created through a Patented fermentation process of select plant materials with the addition of  non-ionic surfactants.

No, AquaMate® does not sterilise, it removes biofilm and prevents mineral build up.

No.  Applying more than the 3ppm is just wasting money as it will not do a better job. As once the water is saturated, it cannot be saturated anymore.  In some crops consistent rates well above the recommended application rates can actually increase water uptake too much and cause quality issues to fruit.  They key is to apply at consistently the right rate based on the flow of water for the set determined period.
